Hey there! how’s your week been? Well, that’s nice.Interested in what’s happening in this weeks news of gaming? Right: News on the objective in No Mans Sky, a nice bit of news for PS Plus owners, and Square Enix’s first collective project is on Kickstarter!

The infamous fat princess, is back! aren’t you excited? I sure am, well, in anticipation for our excited-ness, let’s take a look at an upcoming Vita game that has the fat princess name on it but has nothing to do with the new game, it’s such an original concept, too!

The description for it is ‘three-match puzzler’

When I first saw this on the blog, I simply thought what all would probably think – just another 3 match bejeweled spin-off, well, you’re right on the first part and I even had a joke lined up on here, but then I tried the game for myself on my Android phone- Any One Plus brothers out there? (also available for Vita and iOS) and it’s actually pretty impressive; each symbol has a purpose, whether it be attack with a sword, musket, bomb, or heal – match three of these and you will be able to attack the opponent/heal your teammates with them. But I’m really impressed for such a take on a simple game, I’ll actually be playing this one!

Much like the PS3 had terrible themes, the influx of PS4 ones have now started in an effort for people to get a quick cash grab, does anyone remember the meme theme for PS3? I was stupid enough to buy that.

With an addition of 35~ ps4 themes to the store, all of each costing around $3, and most of which stupid. I don’t really see the point in doing such a thing, take a look at these photos from the online store:

It seems like our buddy Virtual burger has been hard at work….. looking through his past images and putting them as a background, then changing the colour of the highlight area! (I Wish we could make our own themes)

Thankfully, they haven’t hit the EU store yet, but it’s only a matter of time…

Although, I will have to give a couple credit before I blow them all off as stupid;

There are a few other environment dynamic ones – Sharks too, but I haven’t experienced what they’re actually like so I can’t judge them, I’m just giving my opinion on what they look like from the 1 picture they supply.

Ever since they introduced it everyone, including myself have been wondering, what do you actually do in No Mans Sky? Do you just explore then go to the next planet? Well we found out via Eurogamer the other day! Here’s what we learnt, for a full and better explaination however, go to the link below because it’s a pretty beefy reply:

You work your way inwards from the outer of the galaxy inwards, trading, mining, shooting, exploring – upgrading yourself, your weapon and ship on the way to the centre. collecting money (Units) on the way to provide for your upgrades, there’s nothing to say that you can’t just jump around the outer edge of the galaxy to keep alive and explore that area, however.

So overall, if I could sum it up into a category, which seems pretty tough, it’s more of a ‘sandbox’ space survival action exploration game……. Which sounds pretty fun to be honest, this game hasnt’ gotten my full attention just yet, but I am keeping my eye on it!

Here’s a bit of nice news, The Order: 1886 has gone gold! Coupled along with this announcement was a story trailer which looks quite nice, the trailer was good, as it showed some areas we were familiar with, yet showed the cutscene that was in that area, in any case, the trsiler is worth a watch, but is extremely gory so if you can stomach a bit of fake gore, go right ahead, I’m not your mama:

Sony’s own tv show, Powers, the show that they rambled on for AGES at their E3 last year, is debuting on March 10th, with a slice of good news for us PS Plus members; it’ll be free! Also, the first episode will be free to anyone with a PSN account, and the series will span 10 episodes.

Everyone remembers Theme Hospital, right? the awesome game that is just amazing, well turns out that Origin are offering it free with their ‘on the house’ programme – only downside being, you have to download origin!

Jokes aside, the game is awesome, I’m not sure if I hold it in such high regard due to it’s nostalgic effect on me but still, it’s free! give it a go! (The PS1 version is terrible, PC controllers are much better for this game)

This game is pretty interesting, if you remember a while ago Square Enix launched a collective to help publish ‘indie’ games, this game is one of them, it’s now on kickstarter for funding and at the moment, has got $9,546, with a $30k goal and another 24 days – it’s entirely possible.

With the recent announcement of Microsoft making the awesome idea, where they got it from I have no idea: Xbox to PC streaming for windows 10 devices, they are also investigating PC to Xbox. Making PC games playable on your Xbox, this seems like a pretty good idea. but I can bet that it won’t happen.

Why?

PC games are cheaper, meaning less money, if everyone makes use of this feature and only buys PC games from then onwards, it would mean less Xbox games bought. Anyway, it would be nice, but I don’t see it happening, this isn’t me hating on Xbox, it’s just me giving my view as I wouldn’t implement it if it was my console
