Touhou is NOT an anime! That’s probably the first thing any Touhou die-hard will tell you. Touhou are a collection of Japanese bullet heck games that have an immense fan following and some awesome music!
What’s Touhou?
It’s a collection of bullet heck shooter games that have been being released since 1996. These games are developed by Team Shanghai Alice and are available on a variety of platforms: the PC-9801, Windows PCs and the PS4 officially. Bullet heck shooters are immensely hard, even on the lowest difficulty so be prepared to be pwned quite a few times unless you’re a pro at them. Touhou games have an amazing soundtrack so you won’t get bored being beat endlessly by little bullets on screen Controls are quite simple and while the menus are in Japanese, they aren’t too hard to navigate.
Where can I get Touhou?
Tohou is still available on Google Code so grab it while it’s still up. Remember, it’s a PSP game that will run on consoles that allow homebrew of course. You can also run on it on the PSVita and if works for sure on Adrenaline and VHBL. The downloads have Japanese characters so it’s advised to copy them via USB to your PSVita (via Vitashell) as FTP could mess some file names up.
