TN-V arranges icons and categories according to last creation, by default. (A last created category and/or installed game/app appears on top of older ones)

So this is a simple trick to rearrange them

Requirements:
You must have PSP Filer and CategoryLite Plug-In (or any other category plug-in) installed.

The main technique here is by simply changing the file/folder’s date and time properties.

  • 1) Open PSP Filer
  • 2) Navigate to the folder of the category that you want to be 2nd from the bottom (not including “uncategorized”)
    (PSP/GAME and/or PSP/ISO)

(I used Emulators here because it will automatically put “For Edu Use ONLY!” below it (and also the other categories, temporarily)
  • 3) Press “x” and then “up” to open folder’s properties
  • 4) Highlight dates (created, accessed, modified) one by one then press “select” for each.

  • 5) Then press start to save new properties
  • 6) Repeat for the category you want to be third from the bottom, fourth from the bottom, and so on, until you reach the one that you want to be the topmost category.

And there you go, the categories are now arranged to your preference.

Note: you can also do this to rearrange the games/apps within each category, since PSP Filer’s icon rearranging function only works for uncategorized games/apps.

(pressing “triangle” then “left” at the main PSP Filer screen)

Just select the ISO file and folders of specific games under PSP/GAME that you want to rearrange and do the same process above
